Lot # 7100-0470Northern Alaska/Canada; males19-20" long plus tail light golden with some brown hairs head whitish with brown hairs neck and shoulders extra light color had grayish fur on front legskins. Super, super heavy winter fur . #1 select quality. Often dubbed "canary marten" by fur trade. A year ago there were 59,439 marten sold by the largest Canadian auction house. Of these 33 (0.00056%; 1 in ~1800 skins) were of unusual colors as designated by the auction house. We bought all of them and just got them back from the tannery.
